Identification: Sized large enough ( 55 cm ) , dark colored with short bushy crest and pale stripe on the tail . The difference with the Eagle - snake Bido : the wings are longer , darker color , smaller spots , lines light amber brown nape , throat black , brighter tail lines . Iris yellow citron , sera yellow , creamy white beak , yellow feet .
Voice : Typical and clearly different from the eagle - snake Bido . Consists of a series of very short tones , long tones terminated under pressure .
Habit : eagle - snake Similar Bido , but like the mountain forests .
Global Distribution : Endemic in Borneo .
